Randa Chehab graduated from Smith College in 1988 with a BA in Developmental Psychology. She worked for years in outdoor education for the Colorado Outward Bound School and the National Outdoor Leadership School. Randa moved to Bozeman in 1992 and after completing massage therapy school in 1994 she has been sole proprietor of her own business for nine years in therapeutic massage and bodywork. She furthered her study of anatomy and physiology as a graduate student at MSU, and graduated in 2001 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison Physician Assistant Program and received national certification that same year. Randa believes through a disciplined and committed practice, yoga is the best medicine out there.

Randa has practiced various forms of yoga since 1987, with the most in-depth study of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga under Tim Miller, Nancy Gilgoff, and Lino Miele. She opened Down to Earth Yoga Studio Fall of 2002 with the intention to inspire and share her passion for this practice.

Randa has spent the past two winters in Sourthern India with Lino Miele whom she has also followed through Europe. In order to sustain her Ashtanga practice she also studies with Nicki Doane and Eddie Modestini.
